Tycoon Season 1
We are excited to officially announce Season 1 of HydraMC Tycoon!
Throughout the Tycoon Beta, we spent a significant amount of time testing progression, gathering feedback, balancing the economy, fixing bugs, and expanding the game with new features.
Season 1 brings major changes to nearly every part of Tycoon, including Farming, Mining, Prestiging, Enchants, Generators, Shards, Missions, Milestones, Boosters, and more.
Here is everything you can expect going into Season 1.
โจ Shard Armor
A completely new Shard Armor system has been added to the Shard Shop.
Players can unlock specialized armor that provides multipliers while equipped.
There are four types of Shard Armor:
- Money Armor - Increases Money earned.
- EXP Armor - Increases EXP earned.
- Token Armor - Increases Tokens earned.
- ALL Armor - Increases Money, EXP, and Tokens simultaneously.
Money, EXP, and Token Armor each cost 250 Shards to unlock.
ALL Armor costs 500 Shards.
Once armor has been unlocked, it can be equipped directly through the Armor Shop and upgraded using additional Shards.
Individual armor types gain +0.15x per level, allowing them to reach a 2.5x multiplier at Level 10.
ALL Armor gains +0.05x per level, reaching 1.5x Money, EXP, and Token multipliers at Level 10.
Each armor type also has its own visual identity:
- Money Armor - Green
- EXP Armor - Aqua
- Token Armor - Yellow
- ALL Armor - Black
๐ฏ Missions
Season 1 introduces a completely new Mission system.
Players can choose between:
- Farming Missions
- Mining Missions
Each mission can appear in one of five difficulties:
- Easy
- Medium
- Hard
- Expert
- Impossible
Higher difficulty missions require more progress but provide better rewards.
Only one Mission can be active at a time, and your current progress is displayed through an on-screen boss bar.
Mining Missions become available once Mining has been unlocked.
Once a Mission is completed, its rewards are automatically given to the player.
๐ Milestones
We have also added a new Milestone system for long-term progression.
Milestones are available for:
- Farming
- Mining
- Prestiging
As you continue progressing, you will unlock rewards at increasingly larger milestones.
Milestone targets begin at:
250 โ 500 โ 750 โ 1,000
They then continue through larger progression goals all the way up to 1,000,000.
Players can claim individual milestone rewards or use the new Claim All option to collect multiple completed rewards at once.
โ๏ธ Mining Overhaul
Mining has received one of the largest progression changes going into Season 1.
The entire Mining economy has been rebalanced to ensure that unlocking Mining feels like a significant upgrade over Farming.
Every ore now provides more EXP and Tokens than the ore before it.
Coal begins at:
- 50 Base EXP
- 18 Base Tokens
Netherite reaches:
- 100 Base EXP
- 50 Base Tokens
Mining also now has an intrinsic 12.5x reward multiplier applied to base Mining EXP and Tokens.
This means Coal effectively begins at approximately:
- 625 EXP
- 225 Tokens
Additional modifiers such as Armor, Boosters, Tool Upgrades, and Enchants are applied afterward.
Mining is significantly more rewarding per block than Farming, but its Prestige requirements are also much larger.
Each Mining Prestige adds 140 required levels, compared with Farming's 10.
Mining progression also begins completely independently from Farming.
When unlocking Mining:
- Your Pickaxe begins as Wood.
- Your Pickaxe begins at Level 0.
- Enchant levels do not transfer.
- Enchant prestiges do not transfer.
๐พ Farming Progression
Farming progression has also been completely rebalanced.
The temporary Prestige 0 EXP bonus used during testing has been removed.
Instead, crop EXP now permanently increases as players progress through Farming.
Every new crop provides 1.5 more base EXP than the crop before it.
Token rewards also continue increasing as new crops are unlocked.
Crop unlocks remain every three Prestiges.
This creates a much smoother reward curve and prevents players from feeling weaker immediately after prestiging.
๐ Prestige Changes
Prestiging has been adjusted to better support a full Season of progression.
Later Prestiges now require increasingly more levels, preventing late-game progression from becoming dramatically faster.
Important progression milestones include:
- Prestige 50 - Automatic Prestige unlocking remains available.
- Prestige 150 - Mining unlocks.
- Prestige 250 - Netherite Block unlocks.
- Prestige 300 - Reserved for a future major progression system.
Prestige Point rewards can also now scale using the Prestige Multiplier.
Players can earn up to three Prestige Points per Prestige.
The Prestige Shop has also been adjusted, with upgrades capped at 25 levels and increasingly expensive upgrades at higher levels.
โจ Enchant Overhaul
Enchants have received extensive changes for Season 1.
Enchant progression has been reorganized around different stages of the game, with stronger enchants requiring higher Prestiges.
Locked enchants have also been redesigned.
Instead of revealing the full enchant before you unlock it, locked enchants now display as a Barrier named:
Locked Enchant
Their menu information only displays the required Prestige.
Once the required Prestige is reached, the original enchant icon, name, description, and information immediately become visible.
Enchant menus are also automatically sorted based on their required Prestige.
โ๏ธ Mining Enchant Progression
Mining now has its own separate Prestige requirements for Pickaxe Enchants.
This allows Mining progression to be balanced independently from Farming.
The Mining enchant unlock order is:
- Token Fortune - Unlocked immediately
- EXP Fortune - Unlocked immediately
- Drill - Prestige 150
- Patience - Prestige 155
- Lucky Strike - Prestige 160
- Token Pouch - Prestige 165
- Money Pouch - Prestige 175
- Ore Luck - Prestige 185
- Shard Finder - Prestige 195
- Explosion - Prestige 205
- Vein Miner - Prestige 215
- XP Share - Prestige 225
- Multiplier Boost - Prestige 235
- Minion - Prestige 245
- Treasure Hunter - Prestige 250
- Ore Surge - Prestige 265
- Nuke - Prestige 275
๐ฐ New Enchants
Several new or redesigned enchants are also arriving in Season 1.
Money Charity
Money Finder has been replaced with Money Charity.
When activated, Money Charity distributes Money to every other online player.
The amount rewarded scales with the enchant's level.
Token Blessing
Token Blessing works similarly to Money Charity but distributes Tokens instead.
XP Share
XP Share temporarily shares Mining EXP with another eligible online player.
Money Charity, Token Blessing, and XP Share require at least two players online to activate.
If you are playing alone, these enchants will not waste an activation roll or begin their cooldown.
๐ Locksmith & Treasure Hunter
Key-based enchants have also received improvements.
Locksmith now supports configurable key rewards with separate chances for each key type.
Treasure Hunter has received the same configurable reward system and automatically retrieves Relic display names directly from HydraMC's Relic system.
โก Enchant Balancing
Several existing enchants have received balancing adjustments.
Some of the major changes include:
- Increased Token Fortune reward scaling.
- Reduced Shard Finder's activation chance while preserving its reward amount.
- Crop Luck and Vein Miner now have a maximum level of 60.
- Enchant activation chances, cooldowns, rewards, costs, level limits, and Prestige requirements have been rebalanced.
- Fully completed enchants now display a bold [MAXED] indicator.
An enchant is only considered fully maxed once it reaches both Prestige V and its maximum level.
โ๏ธ Legendary Generators
Five completely new Legendary Generators have been added after the Wither Generator.
Sculk
- Price: $350M
- Income: $140K per interval
Respawn Anchor
- Price: $500M
- Income: $190K per interval
Beacon
- Price: $750M
- Income: $270K per interval
Dragon Egg
- Price: $1.1B
- Income: $370K per interval
End Crystal
- Price: $1.6B
- Income: $500K per interval
Legendary Generators are designed around approximately 7โ9 hour passive payback periods, with each generator gradually becoming a larger long-term investment.
Generator prices and income throughout the game have also been rebalanced around the Season 1 economy.
๐ Shard Shop Improvements
The Shard Shop has been expanded significantly for Season 1.
Players can now spend Shards on:
- Money Boosters
- EXP Boosters
- Token Boosters
- Enhanced Boosters
- Shard Armor
- Money rewards
- EXP rewards
- Token rewards
The entire Shard Shop layout has also been redesigned to better match HydraMC's menu style.
Shard Finder has additionally been made considerably rarer, making Shards a more valuable long-term currency.
๐ Stackable Boosters
Using another booster with the same multiplier will no longer waste the remaining duration of your current booster.
Matching boosters now stack their duration.
For example, using two matching 20-minute boosters will result in 40 minutes of active booster time.
๐ Daily Rewards
Several improvements have been made to Daily Rewards.
This includes fixing menu errors and improving how reward commands are processed.
Daily Reward values and menu settings have also been adjusted for Season 1.
๐ Rank Bonuses
Rank-based bonuses have received several fixes and improvements.
Generator limits now update correctly when a player receives a new rank.
Rank bonus values are also configurable and have been adjusted around Season 1 progression.
๐ฌ Discord Sync
Discord synchronization has also been expanded.
Successfully syncing your Minecraft and Discord accounts now grants access to /fly.
Discord synchronization can also provide additional configurable rewards.
๐ง Quality-of-Life & Bug Fixes
Season 1 includes a large number of smaller improvements and fixes throughout Tycoon.
Some of these include:
- Fixed ores not automatically updating when reaching the required Prestige.
- Fixed Generator holograms disappearing after configuration reloads.
- Fixed Generator limits not updating after receiving a rank.
- Prevented Generators from being equipped as helmets.
- Fixed players occasionally removing Enchant icons from menus.

๐ Thank You
Tycoon Season 1 represents a huge step forward from the Beta.
The Beta allowed us to identify progression issues, test the economy, gather feedback, and build several major systems that weren't available when Tycoon originally entered testing.
We want to thank everyone who participated in the Beta, reported bugs, suggested changes, or simply spent time playing.
There is much more planned for Tycoon throughout Season 1, including future progression beyond Prestige 300.
We cannot wait to see what everyone accomplishes.
Welcome to HydraMC Tycoon Season 1. ๐
